Tractebel Engineering (FRANCE) was born out of the engineering consultancy André COYNE et Jean BELLIER (A.C.J.B.), later named COYNE et BELLIER, Bureau d’Ingénieurs-Conseils.
Electrobel, one of the companies that would later form Tractebel Engineering, became the main shareholder of COYNE et BELLIER in 1976.
In 2009, COYNE ET BELLIER took over the name Tractebel Engineering. Today, the COYNE et BELLIER brand is used for projects in the hydraulic works sector.
